Amy Williams Occupational Therapist

Empowering your journey to independence

As an Independent Occupational Therapist, I am dedicated to providing functional assessment and rehabilitation to adults who have difficulties with completing activities of daily living due to illness, injury or the ageing process. My goal is to empower clients to achieve independence and improve their quality of life through personalised occupational therapy interventions.

What is Occupational Therapy?

Occupational therapy helps you live your best life at home, at work – and everywhere else. It’s about being able to do the ‘occupations’ you need, want and have to do. That could mean overcoming challenges going to work, playing sport or simply doing the dishes.

Occupational therapists see beyond diagnoses and limitations. They focus on hopes and aspirations. They work with you to recommend adjustments to the way you live by looking at the relationship between the activities you do every day, the challenges you’re facing, and your environment. These adjustments are practical, realistic and personal to you, to help you achieve the breakthroughs you need to elevate your everyday life.
